Local Dentist possible Anesthesia Pimp?

Initial Drive by

Sedative Dentistry is not even the name of
the clinic its called "Dreamy Dentistry"

Dentist office in CT promoting Anesthesia for basic work

advertisement

Driving my usual route in town, listening to XM Radio news reiterating over and over reports about Michael Jackson and Doctors and Dentists acting as legitimate drug pushers. I was thinking about how the media is over reacting about these medical professionals. I actually said to the person riding with me in the car that, "What Dentist or Doctor in their right mind would give you Anesthesia for a good nights sleep? " Just then, I just happened to be driving by a well known Dentist Office in a small town in suburban Connecticut and was compelled to take a "drive-by photo" with my IPhone when I read the enormous signs plastered on the building. This office is across the street from a High School and Dairy Queen.

I am now a true believer! After witnessing an actual sign where a Dentist promotes "Sedative Dentistry" a/k/a Anesthesia if you Hate going to the dentist. A basic teeth cleaning can get you Anesthesia!

Where has the world gone when your local Dentist can pimp drugs as a way to get you in the Dentist chair.

What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

So, do you want to live in a truly free society?

One of the responsibilities of living in a free society is that you are given the choice of what you want to put in your body. Once you accept this responsibility then you are solely to blame for your decision, not the doctor, the dentist or the dopeman on the corner.

If you don't know the risks of what is being prescribed to you, then educate yourself. Stop looking for someone to blame for your poor decisions.
